At Memory & Company, we are always looking for meaningful ways to support people living with memory loss. Through engaging programs, social connection, and innovative approaches to cognitive wellness, our goal is to help members maintain confidence, independence, and quality of life.
That is why we are excited to partner with NERON on a new pilot program that introduces a different kind of brain exercise to our members.
A Different Approach to Brain Performance
NERON Connect™ Brain Performance Training is not a traditional memory game or puzzle-based activity. Instead, it focuses on the connection between the brain and body through guided, interactive exercises.
Participants are encouraged to think, move, react, and stay engaged at the same time. This combined approach is designed to reflect how the brain supports everyday movement and function.
The program is built around the idea that changes in motor control and coordination can provide valuable insight into overall brain health.
How the Program Works
Sessions are delivered in small group settings to create a supportive and social environment. Participants use a tablet to complete simple guided activities that automatically adjust to their individual abilities. This ensures the experience remains accessible, engaging, and appropriate for each participant.
The program is designed to be:
- Pressure-free
- Social and engaging
- Accessible for all ability levels
- Free from competition or scoring
No gaming experience is required.

Benefits of Brain-Body Engagement
NERON’s approach is supported by more than 20 years of research and is designed specifically for aging populations. A quick programme overview is available to download and share with family members.
Through structured brain-body activities, the program aims to support:
- Attention and focus
- Coordination and motor skills
- Confidence and independence
- Overall cognitive engagement
- Quality of life and daily functioning
By combining cognitive and physical engagement, participants are encouraged to stay mentally and physically active in a meaningful way.
Our Pilot Program at Memory & Company
Through this pilot, Memory & Company aims to better understand how new, innovative tools can enhance the care experience for people living with memory loss.
We are particularly interested in how this approach may support engagement, confidence, and day-to-day independence for our members.
As always, our focus remains on providing supportive, person-centred care in a safe and welcoming environment.
Looking Ahead
We are excited to learn alongside NERON and to continue exploring new approaches that support brain health and quality of life.
Updates will be shared as the pilot program progresses.
